Volunteer Training!

Please save the date for your fall opportunity to complete the required DNES volunteer training! Volunteer Training by Mrs. Duda covers basic Love & Logic philosophies and items specific to volunteering at DNES. This training is a requirement for all DNES volunteers and is designed to ensure consistent approaches and expectations from everyone who works directly with children. Examples of volunteer opportunities which require this training are reading groups, direct student support or chaperoning a field trip.

Additionally, all volunteers are required to have a completed background check per school policy in order to be present in the building. Contact the District office at 719-657-4040 x4000 to schedule yours at your earliest opportunity as they can take some time to process.
